Bol.com fulfilment: VVB, LVB or a third-party warehouse in the Netherlands?

XLI Fulfillment · Updated 2026 · 5 min read

On Bol.com, your fulfilment setup decides how fast you deliver, how you score on Bol's service standards and what you keep in margin. You can choose VVB, LVB or an independent fulfilment warehouse. This guide puts the three side by side.

The three options

1. VVB (Verzenden via Bol)

With VVB you keep your own stock and pack orders yourself, but ship with labels provided by Bol. You get access to Bol's delivery network, while storage and packing stay your job. For sellers without a base in the Netherlands, that is usually the bottleneck.

2. LVB (Logistiek via Bol)

LVB works like Amazon FBA. You send stock to Bol's own warehouse and Bol takes over storage, picking, shipping, returns and customer service. It saves work, but you pay Bol's storage fees, your stock is locked into one channel and the inbound requirements are strict.

3. A third-party fulfilment warehouse

You keep your stock with an independent fulfilment partner in the Netherlands. When an order comes in, the warehouse picks and packs it the same day and hands it to PostNL, DHL, DPD or Bol's delivery network. You stay in control of your stock and can use the same inventory for several sales channels.

Selling on Amazon, TikTok Shop or your own Shopify or WooCommerce store as well? One central warehouse means you do not need separate stock for each channel.

What to ask a fulfilment partner

  1. Is the warehouse actually in the Netherlands? Stock held in another country means slower delivery to Dutch and Belgian customers.
  2. Is there a Bol.com integration? Uploading orders by hand is slow and causes mistakes.
  3. Is the partner part of Bol's delivery network? An official Ampère drop-off point gives your parcels the 24-hour delivery promise and makes them count fully towards your service standard.
  4. Is pricing published? Inbound, storage, order handling and shipping should be clear upfront. See our guide to fulfillment costs in the Netherlands.
